Worrying thing is that the club seem to have no idea how weak we are at centre, even in the Sao article it talks about replacing him with another prop.

We will have to pay some of his salary.

Pointless if we replace him with another prop (Well not pointless, but a wasted opportunity)

Take Eddie and Stevo with a pinch of salt, Sezer will be coming here.

Don't think it's too bad, we won't get Hastings, too expensive and doesn't look like much other quality available.

Could see us panicking and signing Drinkwater if Seizer falls through.

Sadly there is no other club which is quite like the basket case of ours who would waste a quota spot on Sao

I'd have preferred if the club hadn't signed Sezer nor Cust as just don't see the point a using up quota spots on either of them as question marks on their robustness alone.
Ideal scenario would bring in a quality half with a running game, then either a quality 9 or centre. Better still if we can shift Sao on then get all 3, do a deal for Matty English as Sao's replacement and possibly another either a SL fringe or Championship player as not sure we have any prospects that are ready just yet.

I think it's time to say goodbye to Sao. Can be great on his day but too often lets us down with his indiscipline and his reckless offloads. If it wasn't for Smith's match winner at home to London Sao would have cost us that game with a stupid off load.

Hopefully a non-fed centre or if not a prop who is more reliable.

Not sure there us the availability of a good enough running half, so we either sign Seizer who has been decent this year or take the risk and wait it out.

This hasn't worked out for us in the past, signing Reynokds, Gale, Clifford and Brown all late on.

Could maybe get a queensland cup player, but good chance they won't be good enough for SL.

Club are in a tough place, nit exactly the most attractive club right now.

If we have Abdull we should be looking for speedy running half to compliment his style

If sao goes we absolutely have to get another decent prop or we'll be royally screwed no matter who we sign in the halfs

If Sao leaves our 4 Props would be Ese Ese, Ashworth, Aydin and Fash. As much as we are weak at centre, if Sao goes we best have another prop lined up first. As Marcus said above, feel we need a more seasoned forward even if Sao stayed

Yeah forwards would be a huge worry. Would be great spending money on a quality centre but if our forwards end up been as ineffective as they have this year then it doesn't matter how good the centres and halves are when they've got no platform to play from. We'll be consistently stuck in our own half again all season.

Agree we need another forward, two if Sao goes.

Got to be looking for at least one other middle of regular superleague quality if Sao goes. Hastings would be a better option than Cust and/or Seizer if there's options with their 'signings'

Carlos confirmed as leaving at the end of the season.

What a legend. Injury hit in the last couple of years but loved watching him at his peak.

Gutted he is just shy of a testimonial at the club.

At his peak he was easily one of the best centres in SL, and should go down as one of our best imports in the SL era.

Swapping Sezer for Hastings would be great.

Offload Sao, sign Chris Hill and Mattu English for the pack and then sign a quota centre like Brent Naden.
