I wouldn't disagree with you but if he wants out he wants out, Connor is the most talented player we've got and the more he gets the ball the better.

I fully agree but I don't think connor and kelly would work as a combo. Neither have a top class kicking game and both are off the cuff type players who don't bring enough organisation to our play. No suprise our season went down the pan once sneyd got injured. He went off in the home game we won comfortably against cas and teh only league games we won after that were rovers, salford and widnes. Anyone who doubts his value to the team doesn't know much about the game. He does far more than kick

If he goes we have to replace him with a similar player. With hindsight, it would have been better to let kelly go and move connor to 6 but connor improved so much last season it would have been a brave decision at the time

Sneyd has been a match winner ever since he joined the club. Yeah he lacks in the running area a bit but his conversion success rate and his drop goals have win us so many games.
And to be honest I don't think he has a bad running game, we've seen him score a fair few individual trys. The problem is that he just doesn't do it very often. He can do it, So it's a shame that he doesn't.

2 MOTM performances in 2 CC semis and 2 Lance Todd trophies tell you how important he is to us. Our style of play doesn't really make any half look top notch as we don;t have enough men running off the ball and enough option runners. if sheyd were at wire, wigan or saints he'd be seen as a very different player
