A pal of mine has been making enquiries about hiring a venue. Airco is more expensive to hire for a day than Hull City Hall - great community venue eh?

Signed as well. Surely planning permission must have being sought from the council, it would seem the council don't give a fig about the 'community' aspect either..

Great point. Seems like the council have screwed up the deal so badly from a legal perspective they're powerless or CBA to do anything. Won't stop there IMO.

Or they aren't aware of this development until it broke today. For someone who won't spend money on something he doesn't own, he is sure spending on it... New pitch, new floodlights, indoor 3G.
