If we have signed a full back already even if he is "world class" which I very much doubt.... Hoy will move to stand off and we will not have a quota place to play half back.
I cannot think of any non quota half back in SL who is good enough let alone available.
Walker is out of contract familiar with the club and a good player. His injury record is a concern but Litten will be back up.

McNamara won’t be here next year, and I for one is happy with that as he simply isn’t a SL standard half. The local boys fan club won’t be happy, but it’s a fact,he’s not good enough. He will end up at Doncaster or York.Don’t even think his own dad would take him. It’s time to stop giving deals to less than average local lads, and aim better
Sad but true with Mac - he has had a fair crack of the whip & even when fit hasn't showed much.
In his defence he has probably been playing to team orders, but sure if the staff thought he was capable of more he would have been given more scope.
We will need cover though even if we sign NRL half, move Hoy until Truey fit, not sure any of the youngsters up to it although Bamforth has been playing halves at Newcastle ? Do like the Walker suggestion - really got to feel for him, sadly no club will be offerring him big bucks due to his injuries,he might be a good fit for us, Davy can continue his development - he might be great but still plenty of development needed.
Kade dykes is a back up option for the sharks. Wonder if they’d be willing to let him go and if we could do a Lachlan Lam move and have him taken off the quota. Allowing us to sign an Aussie half and fullback on top of Hoy
Dan in HDM pretty adamant that we'll be signing a half not a full back
Final quota signing
Hull FC have signed three overseas players for the 2024 season so far. Herman Ese’ese and Jayden Okunbor have been confirmed, with Franklin Pele also a done deal.
The last spot will be used on a half-back, with the club showing some interest in Adam Clune, but his preference to live in the Manchester area was made clear with the player signing for Huddersfield Giants. Hull were also in talks with Sydney Roosters' Connor Watson and are still searching for NRL-based players, with a replacement for Clifford crucial, if it wasn’t already, given Jake Trueman’s Achilles injury.
I can see us getting either Flanagan or Wakeham, I can't see anything domestically aside from the likes of Austin or halfbacks from whoever is relegated. One option would be to bring in a steady type player from the championship until Trueman is fit or put in Medforth/Harman but they're both still eligible for the academy so not sure of they'd be ready.
watching clune play over the weekend, its a shame we couldnt get him.he would have been ideal.other names mentioned dont do out for me.think id prefer drew hutchinson if i had to choose, but hes still not ideal.

Think that’s why the signing of Walker would make a lot a sense as he is a good FB which Litten could learn a lot from. It then allows Hoy to move in to halves to cover Trueman and bring in a new quota half. Only negative is Walkers injury record.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
