Smith looks to be taking the pack in the sort of direction that suits his style, forwards who are big ball carriers and like to offload. Hopefully the likes of Hoy and Trueman will get lots of joy supporting Sao, Pele, Ese Ese and Brown. I'll back anyone who pulls on the famous black and white shirt as long as they give their all for our club.
After reading windass link above, let’s give the kid a chance. I’m sure TS has done due diligence. I’d like to think his contract will also be loaded in the clubs favour.
Nothing from the club again on this signing. Just wonder if he has been brought in as a wing but is someone who has the size to play second row if required. Could mean we are still looking for a second row. The likes of our young wings and Tindall are unlikey to get us much yardage out of backplay but this guy looks as though he would and has the height to take advantage of crossfield kicks. Maybe we are struggling to recruit an overseas halfback and decide to run with Hoy in the halves

I don't know what you are expecting? An immediate announcement as soon as HDM break a story?
It looks like he'll be playing SR going off the HDM article and where he's played for the Bulldogs this season.
We don't know on Tindall yet, but looks like he is going to get the first shot next season. We'd all bagged Mcintosh earlier in the season but he's regularly getting 100+ metres a game. Hopefully Tindall can do the same.
I'm sure the club have some targets for the 7 shirt. We've got time on our side

I certainly hope so , the thought of Hoy in the halves doesn’t fully convince me , given his injury plagued season with his hamstring , an injury that can recur if there’s a weakness there , if fully fit though it may be a good pairing but not much back up if not. As for Okumbot, Ciiraldo picks him regularly but in that Doggies team there’s not a great deal of competition for that place and I have never been overly impressed with him, he has got speed though and is very good in the air when taking kicks so maybe he will play wing and we have other backrow targets? As for the moral debate , we all have our own standards and shouldn’t be railing against those with a different opinion , what he did was not illegal but who at 23 years old is fully equipped to make the right choices every time? I was married at that age and when I think of that version of me now , the less I like some of the things I did back then , but that’s what age and experience and kids do for you!
