In amongst all of the fall out I think it is important to remember that Radders has served your club for the majority of his adult life. Played for you, captained you, coached you. Very successfully too and in decades to come he will be remembered as a legend.
He can't just move away and forget about this, he is a Hull boy and both of his sons are Hull FC players at scholarship and Academy level.
Treat him with the respect that Adam Pearson didn't afford him.
