So this is the future of Super League. Make money by not spending up to the salary cap. Then sign a few cheap players and stay up. No wonder the sports dying on it’s feet.

makes sense, quite like the middle eights, but the super 8s , really ain't super! to many games with nothing to play for, I'll start been interested again end of september for the semis

I think super 8’s would be fine if all went back to zero at the start

But why should a team who finished in the bottom half of the competition have a chance at winning it? The current system rewards consistency over the previous 6 months rather than just doing enough to scrape into the 8s and then playing for the last third of the season to win the grand final.

Hi Faithful one, perhaps reward the top finisher with champions Tag they deserve, with a good financial reward.
Then the top eight can play off in a premiership finale, 1v8 example. Scrap the mad Easter program and all its injury problems, also reconsider this Magic weekend money spinning nonsense, were some teams, mainly us end up in derbys, and Wigan and Saints don’t.

Your right, needs to be some motivation and advantage to finishing top, but Rugby leagues best and high quality games come in Play-off football, at the minute they is only 2 play off games, the semis! hence the quality and entertainment as been going down hill the last few seasons. Super 8s need to change

I’d quite like the middle 8s if we wasn’t in them every year
