Setting off shortly, still overcast and not too hot presently, latest weather predicting high of 25C with the sun breaking through.

just a few observations from a fantastic day
1-the young lass singing abide by me showing real bottle when badly let down by technical issues
2-Ellery Hanley getting introduced to players and taking a moment to offer every player words of praise and advice. Showed real class.
3- May of missed it but Lee Radford didn't appear to go up for his medal or to lift cup. Was waiting for it but screen in stadium changed after fanoa who then walked down with cup.
4-lack of wigan fans was quite shocking for a team who have had little to cheer this year

Wigans lack of fans was a joke tbh. They should be ashamed of themselves. Somebody on their forum who doesnt seem to be liked said its because theyre not beating teams 50-0 every week - maybe their fans are all a bit spoilt and cant handle other teams being as good/better - me personally i dislike them more than Rovers or Leeds

Hanley also took time to actually speak to all of the Hull players when we went up for the cup

Rather have people like him who know and love the game presenting the cup. Olso saw Andy Farrell afterwards and he was very complimentary of hull.

look for martin offiah when gaz lifts the cup, acted like a total c0ck! gone down in my estimations big style!

Noticed that but as you said he made himself look like a total c@ck. Only embarrassed himself. Made it even sweeter though for me seeing a wigan legend looking like that while Gaz Ellis has that cup in his hands.
