Wynne is an unfortunate one for Hull because I think he’s got the ability to be top class, he has the footwork to be a very good centre if he goes to Rovers and they get a few injuries he could be a gem.
If he does do well it’s a different scenario to the likes of Abdull and Litten IMO in which you could question the way the club handled them, Wynne obviously needed the kick up the Harris getting the boot from Hull gave him to really knuckle down as a pro, I’m sure he’s admitted as much publicly.

Getting pally with Reynolds wasn't a good move for him, on paper an ex state of origin player taking a young player under their wing sounds great but Reynolds was here for a holiday, I don't think I've seen an overseas player do so much sightseeing!
I thought Wynne always tried hard on the field, it's just attitude off it that was his undoing. Wouldn't surprise me to see him sucessful in SL if he's sorted his head out.

I'm not sure on Livett, looked good when he first came on the scene, but has gone little for ages. Is he better than Lane, Holmes and Cartwright, I'm not sure.
Be ok as a squad signing, but I'd be looking at any new signing enhancing the 17, I'm not sure he does that.

Agree, we have also got to be careful that bringing in stop gap signings doesn't limit our ability to sign big money players in 2026/2027.

The only signings we should be looking at is a prop or a centre, Holmes, Lane, Jeddars, got Staveley, Kirby and Sao at a push to play 2nd row, sorted at 13, 9, 6/7, wingers and full back IMO for depth.
Always the Optimist never the Pessimist. Glass Half full not half empty man me.

Agree that we should be targeting a prop and centre. We don't need Livett with Staveley and Kirby plus Lennon Clark is impressing in training too i've been told.
