I get the frustration bit from Sao, I really do however; there’s some absolutely needless yellows in there. Take the one at Catalan, seconds before halftime for example, just no need.

Like his pointless offload the other day to a London player following his charge down, when he didn’t pass to Charles or just go to ground and return possession. That was Sao’s fault, no one else’s. Moments later he gave a penalty away and now he’s suspended (again!).

Yeah, would agree with this. To give a little benefit of the doubt to Sao, there have been times this year where I've felt he has made mistakes due to trying too hard, in having to carry the pack almost by himself (especially if Herman isn't there). These mistakes then lead to frustration which in turn lead to more brain explosions and more errors. He then starts flying around trying to make up for the mistake he's just committed only for the cycle to start again!!
Saturday was a case in point. London's first try came off the back of a penalty given away by Sao which in turn was the result of his frustration at his stupid off-load a few seconds earlier. The worst part, from our perspective, is that we keep seeing this chain of events being acted out on numerous occasions by various players through each game throughout the whole of 2024.
Indiscipline and lack of game management, just two of the many facets which are so wrong with the club and which are contributing to the worst season any of us have had to witness/endure.
I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

There's no benefit of the doubt or excuse for his behaviour. He's not a kid or an amateur but an experienced international senior player who should know better and be better versed in game management.

Tend to agree as its just more examples of the shortcut mentality that has become ingrained throughout the club and got us to where we now sit. Instead of rolling up our sleeves and getting in to the game from the whistle, we try stuff that never comes off early doors because its easier than putting in the hard work to get a proper foothold in a game and get some domination over the opposition first.

I am away for the weekend, so I am going to enjoy myself and simply pretend Sunday's game is not happening!
I don't think I have ever been so apathetic about our club than I am right now. Judging by the lack of discussion around this thread, I guess I am not alone in feeling this?
It's not just the fact that once more we find ourselves playing out the last few games of another dead-end season with everyone waiting for the year to end, so that we can put it away and never have to think about it ever again. Our problems are many and deep-rooted, as touched upon is various other threads on here.
I sense an overwhelming weariness surrounding everyone connected with the club, including the long-suffering fanbase. I get the feeling that every Hull Fc person, whoever they are, just wants this over and done with as quickly as possible? The end of 2024 can't come soon enough for virtually everyone!!
