Apparently seen at the club thos week, would definitely like him involved, done well at Doncaster, but not as head coach, maybe Genes replacement, but you would think that a new coach would want to sort out their own backroom staff.
as much as we all respect and loved Richard Horne as a player, really hope he doesnt take up the poison challace of our next coach, stay a t Donny for your own sanity lol
What do people think we need at the moment? A disciplinarian and taskmaster who will whip the players into shape? A tactician who will get them to play as a team? A motivator and innovator to inspire them?

If they get the opportunity (which is questionable given our track record) to bring in their own staff then they absolutely should. But I would like to think that they might still be room to bring someone like Horne back into the fold as well.

However no first team coach experience and why would ge leave Brisbane, only I suppose if he or his family are homesick.
Briers would be a good choice. As for the lack of expererience, it's a fair point but Pearson has history of course of appointing first time coaches. I guess Matt Peet has done OK in his first gig (although I think I could coach that team to a trophy or two).
Hi don't post on here very often, did get told at weekend that a takeover is imminent, but James Webster was mentioned as the incoming coach. All for the takeover but don't fancy Webster if truth be told

If we're gonna go no nonsense then give Grix a go. Untried Oz assistants haven't worked so this club needs to go back to basics. We're not a big club and probably won't be for a long time so we need to start again. Let Grix try imo
Really frustrating how under funded our playing squad this year has been but if the rumours I heard the other week are true then Pearson might have made the right decision.
I was told that we’ve had this potential investor for a while but wasn’t going to commit to anything till the Covid loan was gone and it looked like a new lease was agreed.
If true, I think Pearson has decided to sacrifice today with tomorrow in mind. Which as a fan is tough but thinking strategically I understand.
Does this mean we hear some positivity about the lease as well
