He was already committed to the tackle, it was a genuine tackle. If he was on his best behaviour he doesn’t attempt tackles like that. People would then be calling him lazy, how does he win?

The tackle occurred after the ball was released and the player was heavily hit causing a whiplash effect. Agree with the decision to give him a yellow card and he will be lucky to avoid another short spell on the sideline.

It was half a second late & he didn’t have visual on the ball. It’s was no different to the Mata’utia hit on Bentley which was much later & left him injured. One was just a penalty one was a card. Not surprising which one got which punishment.

Time to stop using Nu Brown as a 7.Either Morgan Smith plays there or give young Jack Charles a few games.Brown has to be at 9 and nowhere else, rotating with Houghton against the Giants (if he’s fit).Carlos T will be out again,so it will be Cam Scott in the centres with Sutcliffe.Pele probably end up with another ban!

the whole scenario of brown at 7 as been ludicrous,as others have said on saturday after flogging houghton yet again he went off with fatigue in the leg{what a surprise}we had a new zealand hooker at 7 balmforth not even in the squad,so we end up with our loose foreward lane playing at 9.a joke.
