Makes his signing even more strange.
Exactly what I thought. You'd think he'd be trying to get out of this deal after the signings we've made... especially if we sign Ratu for next year too.
What are our forwards looking like next year?
Someone mentioned Carlos playing loose forward. What about Kelly? He's a far harder runner. Or Connor? Good defender. You've got 3 pivots then.
I'm concerned that we won't have the forward power to take advantage of the amazing backline we now have.
Is this shaping up to be the best backline we've ever had in SL?

I think the forwards will be fine,
Taylor Houghton Ellis/Green Jones Ma’u Sao
Green/Ellis Bowden Griffin Savelio
Only mentioned Ma’u and Sao because I really believe we’ve signed them and not expecting anyone other signings barring a young kid from lower league for instance.
As for the pack I believe that is stronger than our current pack and will have Masi, Bienek, Fash, Lane, Brown and some promotions from the reserves making up the numbers.

swift will do fine next season.hes got pace.fonua is a good signing, but lacks speed.ratu has shown what we ve been lacking these last few years.no substitute for speed in rugby league.

Over the moon with this. The most pleasing thing is the reaction of fans and players alike on twitter. One of those big personalities that helped to transform the relationship between fans and players at this club in recent years. Excited for next year, yet there's still plenty to be excited about for this! Long may it continue.

He left for a quite obvious combination of factors. Every antipodean would rather play in the premier RL competition, surrounded by their family. He got a chance of a contract and took it, like 99% of antipodeans playing in this Country would. He's now been offered a big 3 year deal, which gives him long term security for his young family. He would only get a 1 year deal in the NRL and possibly on less money. Whatever you're attempting to imply is irrelevant because out of all the SL clubs that wanted him, he chose to come back to us. Much to the delight of most of our fans.
