Plus when he played against Salford Connor wasn't fit, so there was no other option.
FB is a more pivotal position, Connor will get his hands of the ball more, I sometimes think he is wasted at centre.
Yeh Latrell Mitchell is wasted at centre at the Roosters, I see what you mean centre's a great position to have a strike player, especially in a team that struggles to create much out wide, think it shows your lack of of confidence in Radford and not much expectation of us to play decent rugby. Possibly is wasted in a Hull team, but I have no doubt Connor could be a world class centre and I'd be playing him there

Silly to compare a team with the players the Roosters have to us, we don't have the players to play FB at the moment.
Connor is our most creative player and need his hand on the ball, he will be involved in more attacking play at FB than centre, as he will attack both sides rather than one, so with Connor at FB I expect us to play more expansive rugby than with him on one side of the field.
In an ideal world with Shaul player Connor would be at centre, but there isn't any real alternative is there?
I think Connor could develop into a fantastic centre, stand off or FB, he just need to play where is most needed for the team and at the moment it is FB.

I wasn't comparing teams, I was commenting on your silly statement that Connor been wasted playing at centre. But I guess you mean just for this game by that post
I’m worried for Tomorrow night. I think we just have to stay within 2 scores of Cas all the way. They know we go soft with any 3 score deficit.
If we can just battle all the way through to the end that will do for me. A win will be a lovely bonus. For me, it’s time for this team to show it’s got balls, and can stay in every game.
....but Dewsbury in the next round would be nice.

That's not what I'm saying, if you have a pool of players to select from, Lane is good enough to be picked if other (better) players are carrying injuries (and really shouldn't be playing).
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Hull will give us a tough game but the key is to silence their fans in the Threepenny Stand. We have to do this because if we do'nt they will get behind their side and lift them in a way you've never seen, heard or witnessed before.

Fair enough, I can see why you thought that, so I apologise.

I'm with Jake on this one, we should be winning this game looking st the 19 man squads, they have a decent pack out, but there backs are weak.
Can't see us winning . We really aren't playing well at all. Lots of unforced errors and when you look at what strike you have with the likes of Kelly sneyd Connor and even westerman looks a player again I don't see us troubling you especially away from home.

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.
