I am assuming here (as mentioned, I don't know what salary he was or is on), but being an NRL player where the cap is bigger, then being persuaded to come to Hull when he did, it a fair estimate to think he will have been on 6 figure salaries for a while. Given that he was in demand (from a couple of West Yorks clubs) to go to them when he finished playing, he would have been in a decent position to demand a good salary if Hull really wanted him.
