agree with that, particularly the part about the youngsters. Due to injury our young players have been given a massive chance to impress but have largely failed. I'd say Lane & Mantongo have looked good in patches so you could argue they have just been overplayed, but the others have looked nothing better than squad players.
Contrast to say when Cooke, King, Horne & later Yeaman broke through (largely due to us being skint and having no one else) and I was excited to see what was clear quite quickly could be international players. In later years you could see Tom Briscoe had 'it' but the current crop don't excite me.
