I've already explained that in my previous posts.

When you rescue a dog, you gain a heart for life.
Handle every situation like a dog. If you can't Eat it or Chew it. Pee on it and Walk Away.

I'm not sure many people refer to that age group as 'old age pensioners' anymore but I'm perfectly aware of the state retirement age, thanks. I don't see why everyone should get a discount at a certain age. Or bus passes for that matter.
You obviously won't answer my question about over 60s still in work getting a concession so I guess we'll just leave it there.

I already answered it, its not my fault if you didn't read it, but for your benefit I'll say it again.....they state pension is £125.95 a week. Most OAP's have no other means of earning any other income, ie thats why they call it having a fixed income. I suppose you'll be having a pop at the disabled next who are in an almost identical situation

Karen's point is valid, it can't be means tested, but shouldf be in line with state pension age.
I know a lot of pensioners on way more than the fixed pension.
I did, see my post above, I answered it a few posts back.

I think that's the problem too, it's 60 in some circumstances and 65 in others. It needs a blanket change agreeing and the state age of receiving pension payments seems the easiest and fairest.

I said that a few posts back too. Since the DDA came in most clubs have a universal policy of disabled person pays full price, carer free. It never used to be though and got confusing around the different clubs.
