[quote="knockersbumpMKII"]Go one then, explain what she means, because pretty much every game last season she was coming out with defeatist comments sometimes not even half the way through the first half, then starts a M8s thread intimating that we are going to be in the bottom four when we've had only 3 games and on top of that stating absolute nonsense saying the Warrington game is a "must win" if we are to be in the top 4. Clueless and defeatest crud, same as always and yet you and your ilk defend it but when others say the same/similar you're all over it like a does of the clap and giving those daring to say anything against the club the hairdryer treatment.
She doesn't MEAN anything. Which is obvious to most on here

Even if her attempts at humourously disingenuous doom-mongery or lily gilding aren't to your taste, you do at least understand that it is intended to be transparently light hearted, yeah? Despite it being so bleeding obvious, you're not the only one who struggles with this tbf. If it helps, imagine what she writes is being spoken by Molly Sugden, playing Mrs Slocombe with tongue firmly in cheek:

I guess Leeds away, Wigan away and Cas away, along with Wire at home, aren’t a kind start to fixtures, but 40% win rate - is that Top 8 form MR? You’re good at maths and all that shizzle.
I’ll think of some pussy jokes now. That’s a Mrs Slocombe thing, obvs.

I suspect that avatar must have buried itself in my subconscious.
I couldn't point to any of your results so far as surprises. I think I'd have had you down as favourites in the two you won, while the three you lost were away fixtures against other teams who would be disappointed not to make the top 4. You put Cas right off their stride last season and they didn't start the season brilliantly, so that might be a very slight disappointment I suppose.
I'd be very surprised if you didn't finish top 6.

Putting all the nonsense to one side. I am pretty content with the start we have made. Given the Aus trip and the difficulty of these first 5 games, I was hoping for 3/5. Any better than that would have been a massive bonus. So we are one win off the pace, but the performances in defeat have been ok and given the players we have had missing we have done alright.
The next 4 games are very winnable, and even if we slip up in one, a 5/4 record keeps us well on track. Nothing to be concerned about yet.

We need Kelly, Houghton and Watts back. Three critical players for us. And hopefully Sika not long term.
3 extra days extra rest for us over salford before next Friday's game should help. Hopefully a body or two back but wouldn't be surprised if the side was similar to last night

All quiet on the injury front. 4 weeks since Houghton's injury so maybe not too far off. No idea on the others though.
