Still not sure if Wakefield are just bluffing to force their council in to action to keep them in the city. But action does need to be taken about Belle Vue, its gone well beyond a joke.
I also dont think that it is a great idea to be parachuting Toronto in to SL anyway, while they are unbeaten in league1 so far, they havent started travelling yet (based in West Yorkshire) and I think its better for club and fans to grow organically. If they are winning the league easily this year they may play more young Canadians for example, whereas if they were moved straight to SL they'd buy up a load of 2nd rate Aussies at last minute.

Am I right in thinking Toronto are playing all early games away as the weather doesn't allow games to be played realistically til May?
If so this surely could never work in superleague?

Why can't it work? No difference to what they are doing in their league now
Besides Wigan and ourselves request bulk matches away around june/July so at least we will be sure of an away fixture then hopefully

Hull and Wigan end up with 4 or 5 away games in a row, they would have to play all there away games first half of the season.
The league they're in will have only played 5 rounds by the time they hit May so it is very different. Not sure how that league works to be honest but looks like they only play half the number of games.

if it wouldnt work they wouldnt have been accepted by the vast majority of clubs

This is rugby league and the RFL we're talking about, there's a bit of me that can see Toronto playing all there home games in Yorkshire somewhere if they get to SL.

no they wont
8-10 away games first followed by the bulk of 4 home games, then an away game followed by another 4 at home until they even out
the 8/8/8s format will be dumped in the next year or after i would expect too
