Watched Pita Godinet a couple of weeks ago for Manley, he had a good game and can play in the backs or at hooker, he might be just what your looking for as back up to Houghton.

Leuluai definitely not what we need, and even if he was he spends far too much time injured. Glad they've seen sense with Benji, something off about him since his big dummy spit and move to RU, seems to think he's bigger than the club he plays for.

Problem is he would be sat in the stands for 90% of the time.
Danny Care at quins would have fitted the style we are looking for perfectly, shame he aigned an extension. James Cunningnam is going very nicely as London Broncos starting hooker and still only 22. I think if we were looking for a 9 we missed a trick there as he did very well coming on as interchange in his 6 games early last year. However Radford is never going to go with the interchange hooker system. His first two seasons that was a mistake IMO as DH performances suffered due to his workload but with a far better pack this season he's able to do 80mins week in week out AND more importantly sustain and indeed improve his attacking performance.
If we are targeting a direct replacement for Pryce as Easthullfc fan says then I think that is the right way to go. With 5 centres currently (MF, SM, KY, CT & JL) it would make less sense to sign another even if you are losing two. South sea islander is my bet.

i`m not convinced on Gaskell, seems to have had lots of injuries, if we need to maintain or improve our current standards then i think we need a better quality 6 than him in my opinion

Tommy Lee is a current Super League captain, you're not gonna find much better to be a back-up hooker to Houghton. Or are you expecting us to bring in Cameron Smith to do that job?
A lot also thought Yeaman wasn't good enough and he was finished, he's currently the first choice centre in our team.
If this time last year I'd have called for a return of Danny Washbrook, you'd have likely told me he wasn't good enough also.
There would be no point in Motu going to Australia if Gaskell is identified as our answer to 6. The club have obviously someone in mind and is likely to be South Sea Islander as Knocker has already pointed out
Even though he's not a big name or played in the halves a lot lately (being used as an interchange hooker) Mortimer would be a decent signing to play at 6 I feel. Although I'm sure he moved to GC to be with his Mrs so not sure about getting him over here
