Injuries are part of the game. Campo's injury is to a knee that has not been previously injured I understand. That could not be foreseen. All 30+ players are more prone to injury as you have experienced with Ellis.
As Sneyd was not considered good enough for Salford and only had 2/3 of a good season with Cas his in and out level of performance could have been foreseen. Still as you say Pearson can spend his money as he wants. He has wasted rather a lot though on poor players and having to pay players off.
My previous comment was in response to an FC fan who is disappointed by Sneyd's performance. You then in your usual manner bring in superfluous comments about another team's player which is completely unrelated to the discussion.

I quite happy with Sneyd, bit up and down, but he is young and playing for a new team, he tries things, some don't come off, but he all the skills to be a top class 7 and given time I believe he will be.
Pryce has been as poor the last two games along with a few other more senior players, they all need to step up.

The thing with Sneyd is he brings quite a few things to the team that we were missing, he's only 24 & English so not likely to get homesick. IMO worth a punt on, especially if we can get some consistency into his game. As for my 'usual manner' how would you know what that is? I hardly post on here.
I know I am biased but I think that it was malicious. Just hold him down and concede the penalty and professional foul. No need for the rolling over when holding the ankle. From what I've read DM is still in a boot but dispensed with the crutches. I haven't seen the result confirmed only speculation by Peter Smith in the EP

Doesn't McDermott have some previous in the 'overstating injury' department? IIRC some years ago, after a game against Wire (memory again), did he not claim to have three players with "broken jaws"?
