Agreed. It's possibly slightly ambiguous, which is exactly what makes it understandable why people have asked him. I'm not seeing why he shouldn't have answered.

Didn't Sneyd go off after about 5 mins against Huddersfield and come back on almost straight away? Possibly got an injection, but maybe it's a fresh injury concern and he won't be fit? Seems fair enough to leave Salford expecting Sneyd's bombs to be the main kick threat and to practice defence and attack from them all week, to then throw a spanner in by playing Rankin instead?

Sneyd's injury before the Huddersfield game was ankle. He came off during that match with a hamstring problem. Maybe not quite ready yet, or maybe simply LR's incompetence.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
