I didn't hear the whole show, but the points I'd pick Rule up on were the list of thirty year old plus players he reeled off, point is James, those names don't all play for the same team, unlike the seven players over thirty that Hull Fc will have next season.
An email to the show asked why Hull can't throw the ball around like Saints or Leeds. Rule answered this by suggesting Agar is more qualified to answer this question but he stated that Agar is a true advocate of expansive rugby league, well if this is the case then why doesn't he instruct his team to play as such.
He then explained that the board are very hands on, he and two others are at the coal face every day chipping away. Shame the fans don't see the fruits of all this toil and struggle.
His comment about Lee Briers were interesting. Rule said he'd have to choose his words carefully but wouldn't like to see the culture of the players and the club damaged, say what you mean James, c'mon we want scandal.
Only other part worthy of mention was the first caller who when asked if he had a season pass, went on to explain he couldn't really attend games because he suffered with his back, yet when he was told he'd be in the hat for a pair of tickets for friday nights game, his miracle cure happend before our very ears.
Well done Mr Rule, miracle curer.

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

While I think the ambulance chaser is vermin of the highest order, but he has without doubt earned the right to act bertie big bollox and he can most definetely gob off about how $hite Hull are because we are, and I cant see it changing anytime soon.
you see the problem lies when our club will only talk to one media source leaving it's major stakeholders (the supporters) limited avenues of communication.
Now I could adopt the dont listen approach but what good does that do ?
It turns me into the same animal that James's has become, blinkered, wanting to hear only one side of the debate.
The question were the only answer is yes, is a poor question thus it is important to listen to both sides of the argument, to allow challenge and future growth.
That said it was an exhibition of one eyed propaganda akin to pseudo facist state democracy....let them eat cake James !
