It's taken a while to happen but it was worth it. What fantastic news. Owners worth a combined half a billion quid.

Thanks to Adam Pearson, he's had his critics on here but he loves the club and I doubt the Wembley wins would have happened without him.

Honestly wasn't expecting it to be a 100% takeover and certainly not with that kind of wealth behind the owners. Best thing we could have wished for. As grateful as I am for what AP did for us, it was time for new blood at the top and a new direction.

Think there has been a noticeable surge of optimism since Cartwright landed and pre season started. This has taken it up another notch now.
Still be a couple of years away from seeing massive progress in terms of league tables as the squad for next couple of years may not have much wiggle room left, but off the pitch we couldn't be in a better position now.

Felt like the club was a mill stone around Pearsons neck in recent times. He's been ill advised, hot headed and mismanaged the club, but he did help us land 2 CC wins in his tenure.

I'm sure he'll be glad to get this over the line and move into a consultancy role with far less stress.

He certainly leaves a legacy in Hull through his time here and at City.

Immediate thing is to start spending full cap and spending it wisely, with real investment off the field which we’ve hopefully started to see with the likes of Jon Clarke coming on board to help with strength and conditioning.

In all seriousness, this is a great day for our Club and provides us all with a brighter future.

Must pay a special thank you to Adam. We’ve had many good times and two great Wembley winning days that we’ll remember forever. Yes, it’s been tough in recent seasons, however at least he’s navigated us to a brighter future!

More importantly this should mean the pixel problem will be sorted out.

I do feel the criticism of pearson is a bit OTT. He's made mistakes but I've never doubted his commitment to the club. He's been naïve and made some poor decisions but he's also put in a large chunk of his personal wealth and backed coaches, particularly radford, with plenty of cash. Didn't we pay a big fee for westerman in his early years of ownership?

He just never really had the cash needed once covid hit.

It should certainly put a different spin on tonight. Tickets were all gone when I tried to get one but will listen in with interest
