Jeez , We wanted changes , We're certainly getting them now . I've liked Savelio this season but I guess his path out the club was already sown at the start of the season .

Will Savelios fitness improve over the next two years though?
Right decision for me.

Also, genuine question - Why would Clune automatically be a better signing than Wakeham or Flanagan?
He’s played far less first grade games, and an average NRL first grade half back will still be one of Super Leagues better players.

I’d guess nobody really knows but I wouldn’t want Wakeham, he’s not really the half we’d need - wonder if it’s worth ring Fitzy up at The Sharks to see if he’d let us have Brandon Trindall for a couple of years? He’s been put in against South’s and he’s scored twice and really linked the play well, alongside Hynes.
The more I think about it the more I’m warming to the idea of Flanagan , he’s the type that needs a bit of encouragement and an arm around now and again - he looked like Trent Barratt had just shot him to be bits - headwise but I’ve just looked back at some of his best bits for the Roosters , and to say he was filling Cronk’s shoes ; he did have a good season and can organise play and I think it’s all down to confidence with him. I know every player needs that but it looks more so with him and Smith is the type of coach that can work on that.

Disappointing but not surprised.

Anyone else in mind?

I agree with that but what i said was we would have more athletes and kids playing R/L in this country than in Australia if there was a lot more money in the sport, superstars for kids to follow and more important full countryTV exposure. At the moment there is no financial incentive in the country for any young kid who wants to play R/L
Whether we like it or not R/L is a minor sport in the UK.Most kids in the UK dont play Rugby at School whether thats League or Union and all the attraction is on Premier League football where as is Australia football is the minor sport and the country is dominated by Australian rules and Rugby league.
Until we get some private equity in to the sport and a governing body thats fit for purpose the sport will stagnate which is a real pity as for me its by far the best spectator sport yet we have Sky who are now paying more money into womens football than R/L.
I want to entertained not bored to death

Come in Shawn Blore.

Sad to see Savelio go at the end of the season but really can’t argue with that stat as shows he’s only played half the games available during his time here. That’s a hell of a lot of games to be missing in as alert capped sport and doubt he’d be one of the lower earners.
Great player on his but sadly it’s always been his injuries that held him back.

Certainly one hell of a clear out and far greater than even I thought.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Bless your naivety for still clinging onto the notion that is a clear out.

This thread has been comedy gold.

Everybody on the initial ‘keep list’ has buggered off on their own accord.

Pele hasn’t even got a visa but the club have had to leak the signing out via HDM to stop the panic setting in.

Ooo me mum loved the nativity, baby Jesus and all that lot. Her fave was the shepherds and the angel. Both of which I played at school but not at the same time. Your comments are a naive pantomime.
