Catalans have an enormous advantage both financially and geographically over the rest of SL they should have had far more success than what they've had, can't believe mcnamara has lasted so long there.

Shaw knows, he’s the boss of all the local RL journos and DT seems to have a great relationship with the club at the moment. Between him and whoever covers Leigh I’m sure they’ll have been briefed with what’s happening. Not only that, had Lam told Leigh he was off they’d have made moves for a replacement and Hull will be making moves on other targets, all this stuff gets out. It is strange though that it’s been kept under wraps so well, nowadays journo’s always seem to announce this stuff well in advance so.

Shaw doesn’t know as a decision hasn’t been made yet either way.

He also said that he was confident that Rhys Martin would be signing for Leigh a couple of weeks ago

Its probably more like Shaw is hoping and praying Lam stays at Leigh rather than sign for Hull.
Be a huge signing if the club can pull it off the signing of Lam, particularly as he doesn't count of the quota but if not then its not the end of the world. Either way the club (I assume) must have plans and targets in place given the rumours of Trueman being elsewhere next season.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I think it would be a mistake to sign him again, feel.lile we had yeh best of him. If we don't get Lam, we shouldn't be isomg a quota spot on a prop anyway.

Agree. Going back rarely works. Paea and Fonua good examples. Only sign a prop if we keep Trueman or in the unlikely event sign Lam.
Above all else sign in terms of super league standards a top quality centre.

On the centre position. I know the one name that keeps popping up is lafai. However, with rovers looking to sign Martin from Leeds, meaning one of their quota players will have to leave (new rule of overseas players doesn't look to be coming in until 25 or 26 season) the one that most rovers fans have said to leave would be Opacic. Now do you think he would be a target IF he were to become available?

Just a thought
Not sure about others but I think Opacic is pretty average. He's ok but we need someone with more attacking flair. Although Lafai is getting on a bit he offers much more than Opacic. The Rovers player I would have liked to have signed is Parcell but Cust is likely to be the hooker which I find surprising to say the least.
