But that hasn't counted when it's happened to Hull throughout the season so many times?

Warrington beat Celtic by precisely the same score in the previous week and the reviews were along the lines of "Two second-half tries from full-back Richie Mathers finished off a comfortable evening's work for Warrington Wolves as they condemned the Celtic Crusaders to yet another engage Super League defeat this season."
Although the game was dull, I was thinking the same.....It was a comfortable win margin in the end. Celtic are not a bad team.....Theyre not brilliant...remember Catalans in their first (and second) year in SL.....They still had wins. Celtic looked hungry last week.....and we denied them any more than a nibble......then sent 'em to bed with empty bellies 8)
I just hope Hull FC turn up at CP on Saturday.....The Hull FC that...on paper, could beat anyone!!!! Rovers won't get a sniff of victory if they do!!

Not when most of our games are over by 1/2 time. Anyway, which matches have we been 3 players down going into teh last 1/4?

Dress it up all you want, but Friday's performance was probably the worst we've seen from a Hull side since the move to the KC

You know, I can't remember but we have certainly finished games with few or no rotations left due to injuries - for example against Leeds where we played the entire second half with two players unable to return.

I can't remember who wasinjured in which particular game but seeing as we have had approximately 25 injuries to approximately 20 of our players this season I expect there have been a few occasions where we have lost more than one of our potential subs in a match.

Not according to some on here.

Quote:I haven't seen the wire/hudds game so it's difficult to comment with any great level of knowledge, however let's assume wire had a poor game away against the 3rd best club in the league with probably the 2nd most aggressive defence in the league. It could be argued (although like your assertion it would be pure conjecture) that the defensive effort from hudds caused some, if not all, of the errors. We'll never know will we, however it's more likely that they did than celts defensive efforts forced us into errors.

I didn't see it either. However the article in the Warrington rag quoted Smith himself bemoaning the basic errors so I'm inclined to believe him.

Quote:What is clear is that tony smith is capable of preparing his side to perform at a good standard most weeks.

Arguably - thought he did a really great job with the country's elite in the World Cup.

Quote: No team can do it every week, the concentration levels and fitness levels required mean it just isn't possible. He has shown a massive turnaround in their form since taking over.

Yes he has certainly been an improvement on that coaching guru Jimmy Lowes. In fairness he may well have started to attack the perceived drinking culture at that club which I believe Agar is trying to do at ours.

Quote:agar has shown nothing to suggest he is capable of doing the same. You can believe that he can if you want but he really isn't as the majority are only too aware

Jury out for me on that.He took us to Wembley last year when able to get a decent halfback on the park, and infact we were less than 15 minutes from winning the cup. I would like to see improvements from him in many areas and he will need to produce quickly next season or be chopped.

Quote: We're never going to agree on anything. So much so in fact I'm beginning to believe you're my wife. She's always wrong as well

Shouldn’t you be doing the washing up ?

Britain's elite   He's a coach not a miracle worker

agar has had a year and a half and has presided over the 2 worst finishes in SL since the merger. He's rubbish, accept it. there is so much about him as a coach and a person that says he isn't up to it. A good coach can get the best out of any group of players. agar seems capable only of getting the worst out of them

Well according to the Dull Daily Fail Agar has backtracked, he loves us so all is well in the world.

Message to Agar:

Go and beat them red and white ***t* go and damage them, show them what passion you can fire in a Hull FC shirt.

Then we might just believe you

Agree, every player from 1 to 17 should give 110% for the shirt tomorrow, if they can't give that for a Derby then theres no hope, :) :) :)

Every player plus the coaching set up...a repeat of Agar's first derby game in charge will do nicely!
