Good luck to all three. Tindall just not Super League standard ufortuantely. Smith proably stopped us finishing bottom but again not the standard we should be aiming for. I like Walker, he has a bit of X Factor about him but ultimately he's not first choice in any position and there are issues with his injury record.
It’s been known for a while that all 3 have been offered about to clubs but it’s a bold move if they won’t be given squad numbers and not allowed to be part of the squad if they don’t find a move. People will say it’s positive that the club are being ruthless I can see why that’s a good thing but it’s also a balance keeping players and agents onside.
Walker would still be one of our better players and him and Smith certainly don’t deserve the naughty step treatment IMO, although I don’t claim to know what goes on behind closed doors. Hopefully we are forcing the issue because we’ve got players lined up we want to bring in just don’t see who would be available.

The key reason they won't be given squad numbers is because they don't count on the cap if we don't. They all play in positions where we have cover and we have a need for players elsewhere so it's ultimately a matter of cap management.

No point us keeping players who aren't good enough and we've already replaced. Tindall and Smith are championship players, Walker stood injury prone to be first choice.
Craig Harrison has stitched us up with plenty of duds recently. We've moved a few of his clients on in the past 12/18 months. He's an agent who has taken advantage of a naive CEO and owner.
Walker, Sutcliffe, Trueman, Tindall are all his players. No coincidence he was bigging the club up when Clarke was here, now he's left and Myler is moving on his high earning and underperforming players he's spat his dummy out in the media.

Nearly every article at the moment mentions we're still looking to bring in an additional forward. Makes me think we might be in talks with somebody at the moment.

All three will be on wages that reflect they should be in 17, maybe walker should be, but not sure he offers value for money (I know we have signed a few that are risks).
But those not counting on the cap, must give us a decent chunk of cap, so I'd hope for a decent calibre of forward like Sutton, Byrne or Bateman.
Shame we can't move Sao on and bring in a centre too. Although then we would need two forwards.

I would guess them moving on is already factored into our recruitment. I'd be surprised if we have a large amount of cap space left, certainly not enough to bring in a top class player
