You really are Mr Negativity aren't you! Here we have a coach who is committed to developing young FC players who has increased our usual pre-season friendlies from two to three. That, so he can offer a load of kids who have trained their socks off in the closed season and who would never play a team with so much experience in the reserves league, the chance to play together against a team who will probably be in the IMG mix sooner rather than later. For me, win or lose they will learn a lot and whatever happens it will be good to watch them battling to prove a point to that coach.

Watching the City v Norwich game and I have to say the pitch at the MKM is looking in an absolute shocking state. Very threadbare and not just in the football penalty areas.
