Wonder if the club will bring out a commemorative Sweatshirt/Hoody like the schools do for their leaving student's. Just a thought make a few bob eh.

Hull will give us a tough game but the key is to silence their fans in the Threepenny Stand. We have to do this because if we do'nt they will get behind their side and lift them in a way you've never seen, heard or witnessed before.

It is quite a list of players leaving, but what we’ve been asking for for years. Swift, Clifford, Satae and probably Mitch are the biggest losses. Taylor has probably earned himself another year. I would keep Houghton for another year as an interchange hooker, but by all accounts he’s retiring anyway.
I can see us blooding a few next year, which is probably a bit overdue. Our reserves have been doing pretty well.
Genuinely excited to see who we’ll sign. I’d be basing the team around Trueman, Scott, Litten - the next gen!

Think Salford are in trouble and worth watching there situation, a few clubs sniffing around there players. I'd keep an eye on Burgess, Croft, Ackers and Watkins. Ackers is probably the most realistic amd one we need.

I'd hope we would have tabled a bid for Ackers to try and tempt Salford or at least spoken to them as he would be an ideal replacement for Houghton. Think Burgess would be a good replacement for Swift. Croft would be nice but don't think realistically we'd get him and Watkins great player but wrong side of 30 and TS has been quite open about wanting younger players.
I hope Salford manage to sort things out though as think they've done a great job the last few years.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Either the club are confident they can replace these with better players or we are going to run with a smaller/cheaper squad next year.
We're already running with a thin squad. Mau wasn't replaced when he left at the end of last season, Evans wasn't replaced, plus Griiffin has gone. We only have a handful of quality players - the halfbacks ,Swifty,Satae(sometimes!) & Litten(future) &3 of those are leaving. Quality is a must if we have to reduce the size of the squad, otherwise we'll end up having to play dross like Lane.Lovadua, etc. Cheap & cheerful signings won't get us anywhere, Smith is a good coach but he's not a magician.

The time to worry is if you put the boxers on your head.

Not to be pedantic but Sutcliffe was Ma'u replacement
