Then Chamberlain joined us on loan. Seems like a fall out from the Asiata thing to be honest.
God know what will happen if we do actually sign Lam
Yeah, I fear for the fallout with Lam, especially if someone has screwed up the contract.
I do think the fall out from Asiata has been overegged a bit to be honest. The talk was that Chamberlain was recalled as part of a dummy spit. But he then played every game bar one in between his loan spells. That one he missed being the last game before going back to Hull.

It all seemed abrupt with the loan recall, but he was still a leigh player I guess. Don't think Beaumont helped afterwards with the few videos put online re Asiata, he's made a few sly digs at Hull too the weeks following.
Just glad Asiata is finding some fitness and form now for Leigh to be honest.
We'll all hear a loud bang from the LSV if the Lam thing happens. I'm not really convinced though
If Lam goes he goes, he’s certainly helped the team over the last 2 1/2 years but he isn’t irreplaceable on the money he is on, we are only in year 3 of a 5 year plan spelled out to the fans when Lam Snr came on board, our reserves are doing well, we finally have an Elite Academy licence and the women are 10 from 10 and odds on for promotion to WSL.
We have come up and finished in the playoffs and won the Challenge Cup give us a few years of SL stability and there’s no reason we can’t have a good spell of success.

That's certainly a better post than your first post that sounded very bitter.
Although no idea what the success of the women's team has to do with anything.

Think he seemed to score most times he played us, some players have the knack of scoring against certain teams, Blake Austin was another against us, Yeaman against Rovers etc..
But I'd take him for a year then into a coaching role, the guys an absolute winner.
