A lot of speculation about Westerman, lets see who he ends up at, who pays a fee etc. Hull will be a better team without him "if" he is to leave. Time will tell I guess, but he'll be as average in a Leeds or Warrington team

You may be right but if you're basing your opinion on how he plays for us it may not turn out how you expect. If (and it's a big if) he does end up at the rhinos I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him do a lot better. They have better coaching and a winning culture that would only give him a better chance at succeeding.

Plus the fact that Rhinos do seem to be able to deal with wayward sons, if the rumour mill is true about Joe??????.
A change of scenery would do him good, on his day I think Westerman is a top loose man but occasionally his attitude lets him down. Certainly he was pulling up trees and made a good showing in the international appearance IMO. Less focus on him and a tighter ship will help if he has any intentions of regaining rep honours.
No idea if the link to leeds rumours are true but reckon if they do sign him McDermott will ask him to start off playing a much simpler game to get him settled in. A bit like stevie ward and Delaney do now. Make tackles and carry ball to set positions on the pitch. This will take pressure off him a bit. For me at times for fc he looked like a guy trying too hard to do everything and win game on his own. Wire will probably offer more coin than uncle gary hough.

Someone said previously that Leeds have a winning culture. They perform consistently for the most part. I said previously that, for me, Westy's inconsistent but I also said that it's not just him. Perhaps by going to a more consistent team he'll gain that consistency either by raising his game or through having the pressure taken off him knowing there's other game winners around him.
Given Wire's struggles this season I'm not sure he'd find that consistency with them.
If Westerman has already signed for another club I very much doubt AP would release this transfer news until after the price freeze date had gone for memberships anyway, but I would suggest if he does go after him stating 'he will be sold over my dead body' statement then his credibility would be terminally damaged.

If leeds are in for him think they may want to sign him before next friday when they play New Zealand. Leeds missing a lot for that game and have brought back Adrian morley and Ali lauititi for one night. Hetherington would probably like a new signing playing to put some on the gate and improve team. Crooks and schofield are next in line for a call
