Huddersfield fans rate Mellor but think he'll stay.
Easy to forget MDJ given his rotten luck getting injured so early in the season. He's signed up for next season and IMO deserves a fair crack of the whip before we go looking elsewhere.
What a find Ratu has been so far, never expected him to be half as good as he is. Totally fearless.
All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason. -Emmitt Smith
Knew i'd seen something somewhere about a player in a smiliar situation to Ratu.
England RU called up a Fijian kid who was in the army, looks like he was just 'on leave' until he wanted to go back into the army.
Doesn't really answer the quota question, I would've thought if you serve in the British army you are classed as British.
You also get dispensation for signing player from outside the sport, maybe Ratu is in the category. Like Luther Burrell who has signed for Wire.
"I picked up the phone and the person on the other end said, 'This is Gary Gold from Bath Rugby'," says Rokoduguni, who is effectively on secondment with Bath but still lives in army digs in Warminster with his wife and son. "I was like, 'yeh, right', and hung up.
"Luckily, he phoned up my regiment boss, who was a massive Bath fan. It was only then I thought, 'right, this is serious'. Bath offered me a two-week trial and I impressed enough to be offered a contract. So I went and played rugby. And if that hadn't gone anywhere, there was always a plan B - army life."

The security ,of a good Army pension might mean Ratu only stays this season? We might need to make him a big offer to tempt him into “civvy st “ ?

Since when has Connor been our first choice full back?

Army pensions aren’t what they used to be, I’m not sure if commonwealth soldiers get full pay/pension and his chances of getting killed are a little lower in hull than Iraq.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.   Regards,  Matthew

Faraimo and Litten offered a new deal according to Smailes

My mate did 12 years so he gets half pension said it works out about £200 a week you have to do 21 years to get a full pension I think
