It's as relevant as you bringing up Suncorp.

I remember, but it was back in the 1980's when the rest of the ground could hear it

It was always going to be a crap atmos during these years. If we went back now, with bigger crowds than 2002, the atmos would be alot better. Just compare Craven Park from 2005 to this season.

btw, I wouldnt support a move back for one minute.

I thank you,

You have just backed my point.

Hull Kingston Convicts wrote:Rubbish, so Man U do not train on OT? What about the open sessions they have than can attract over 4000? Or the behind closed doors sessions and games??
Next You'll be saying that the reserves have never played at OT and the record attendance for a reserve game of 40k (I think it was) never happened! BTW that was Cantona's return after his little incident with a cockney.

Kosh, who appears to be far more informed than you wrote:According to a post on their official forum, they train at the Carrington complex a few miles from OT.

Maybe they just hold special sessions at OT for the media.

And to think, you are one of those who actually lobbies the point about owning a stake in Hull FC. God forbid the day.

You seem to like living in the past, judging by your by passing of the 1990's and early 2000's with regard to the Boulevard atmosphere.

Since 1998/9. Manchester United have not (on a consistant basis) trained on the Old Trafford Pitch. Their reserves could well have played the odd game their, but as far as I am aware, their reserves, are not the ones who have since lifted the premier league, FA cup, League cup and Champions League. They normally play their games at places like Stockport and Maccelsfield (et al). A little bit like Liverpool use the Halliwell Jones every now and then or that Leeds Untied use Belle Vue from time to time (or they did until very recently.

At what point could you be @r$ed to read the original post without spurting out more drivel? An open training session! Do you think they let them in for nothing? COMMERCIAL REASONS!

If you take your head out of your anus, and read what you put in the first place "we get no home advantage as we are only allowed to train on the pitch once a week", you will realise that training on the pitch is not the home advantage you make it out to be, as the examples of Man Utd (plus other football clubs) proves.

For spiritual home read "Change is not good"

FFS Hull FC didn't even start out at The Boulevard.

And for the record, your arguements and points are worthless as you cannot back up a single one of them due to your blinkered hatred of the board.

and the thing people are forgetting is the BOULEVARD is unlikely to pass the franchise criteria anyway.

if the club did want to move back there, not that they would, would they even be granted a license?

maybe if Hull FC dropped the price of season tickets to what huddersfield are charging they would have 15,000 season ticket holders and average crowds of 20,000, then the atmosphere would be fantastic.

whenever you see large numbers of empty seats at game, i think the price of tickets is too high.

why dont the club offer existing season tickholders a 20% or 30% discount off their season ticket if they bring in a new ST holder.
