You can argue all you like about his permanent signing but him coming early is definitely a positive for the team of the moment.

So are half the players in Super League but every club needs squad players. Shouldn't we judge him on how he performs for us?

Played well for us last year, Leigh offered him a new deal, decent squad player. Smart to get him early with our injuries Be nice to get Asista and Cust (if he close to being fit too)

Why do you bother?

Good, solid signing who gives us options in a number of positions. Just as importantly, he's a true professional on and off the pitch too who will be great for the young lads coming through.

A very good signing for us where we are at right now and hopefully just squad competition next year.

In fact, by definition, i'd be more than happy with bang average because our league position is way worse then that.
