Sounds like the "mutual consent" wasn't that amicable.

Also sounds like the money put in has been wasted by Smith/Clark etc and confirms we have a very overpaid squad.

If Trueman and Carlos are 20% of the cap then jeez what are they on???

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Yes he seems particularly tetchy about how the cap has been (mis)spent.

Just me who finds our owner insufferable to listen to?

No can’t stand the bloke, in general and from personal experience.

Think the 20% on Carlos and Trueman was misinterpreted. Was meaning 20-25% of the cap missing each week, 40% missing for saints.

Well at least we learnt a few things. Bit vague at times (possibly because he has to be) but also thought he was a little bit contradictory in places too. Time will tell how this all plays out I guess.

I think alot of us got a bit over excited (including me) by the potential investment. However I still think there are some positives

Pearson must be confident of an investor, otherwise, he wouldn't be paying players off, sacking coach's and brining in a DOR and other backroom staff.

Also bringing in new players, they wouldn't have release Brown and Hoy, without planning on replacing them with our already thin squad.

So new coach, new DOR, new assistant and a couple of new players should hopefully see us having an improved season and then plan for 2025 with hopefully some money to bring in some quality on the quota and at least one top domestic signing.

Do you want that link for a 2025 season pass now?
