Some good comments about Hardaker too.
No positivity on here about new signings please

Interesting words from Grix.
Yeah agree, all roads point to a change of ownership on the back of this and Mylers statement. Sooner its announced the better obviously.
I also think there will be at least another 2 or 3 signings to be announced and get over the line.

Tomorrow whatever some on here might say we say good bye to one of the clubs all time greatest players, who has given his all, stayed loyal to the club and buggered his body by putting it on the line for years and indeed he is one of the two 2016 immortals we bid goodbye to again Catalans, as the last remnants of that golden era team departs forever. However for me and all of us 'faithfuls' who can't retire, get transferred or just walk away next week is crucial for us all.
If all we get is a few flimsy announcements around goodbyes and hello's, and brighter days ahead stuff then we look set for a long hibernation and weeks of hanging around hoping for an announcement, one that might, quite frankly, in the long term save the club. Next week would be the idea time with foreclosure for those currently involved in running the club, but if it down to the legal bods who knows. one things for sure we need at least an incling of what's happening at our club going forward (if anything).
I think those of us left hanging in there out of love deserve at least that.
The fact is, we all need some hope and the club need a big incentive to even get 25% of the stay away subscribers engaged again, come season ticket time. Thats the big hope for me, but it's a big ask and with hull fc, Adam and the roaring silence on the situation we have endured for weeks, realistically I'm afraid it makes it an even bigger unlikelyhood.

Leigh have posted some really good videos on twitter of them saying goodbye to players who have been with them a couple of years individually. We've done very little for a bloke who has played 450 games for us, won MOS, won the cc twice and been with us 16 years. Pretty poor 8mo. I know there was an interview with him the other day hut much more should have been made to encourage people to come and say goodbye to him and carlos who have racked up 25 years service between them

It must be Season Pass sale time as we've just had an email from Pearson.
While it's not the worst written thing in the world and in fairness there isn't anything he could write to restore my faith in him now...it is yet again a 'stick with us, bright future ahead' statement that could have been written any year since 2021.
Worryingly it's written as though he is staying

He may stay in some role but the day to day running and contracts/signings will be down to Myler I reckon

And I have to question what is the point of that? What's he bringing to the table?
He's made one great appointment in 11 years in Motu Tony and of course he was already well known to the club. He rest of his appointments and decisions have been mediocre or disastrous.
I'm sure that if we advertised a CEO job on his level of salary there are better options with fresh ideas.

He always was staying. It was only pub talk saying otherwise and I’d file that alongside whoppers such as Mally Walker buying the club every 5 years and people who would swear they saw the 5cu11y 13 civic in De Vries Honda showroom with their own eyes.
