Fitness is also a massive issue, watching Storm -Rabittohs right now and pretty much every player looks ripped, you can't say the same about our squad or any other SL squad with the exception of Saints. Not being in peak fitness is inexcusable for a full time sport.
I don’t think your generalisation about fitness is fair. Yes, a number od FC players were not performing in the second half but that coukd equally be down to commitment and application rather than fitness. Houghton and your ex KR forward definitely have seen better days. Cas did not slow the pace over the evening and still looked quite fresh at the end. Last Sunday Wakey and KR showed extraordinary fitness in 30 degree temperature over the full 80 minutes. Wigan looked very fit after they thumped you 60-0. Last night despite only having 13 fit players having lost four to injury. One forward only played 2 minutes. KR came back from 22-12 down to win 22-30
I’ve noticed on most forums the inability of many posters to give any credit to the opposition. In defeat the other team are described as also very poor, or not fit either. Only the supporters of the teams that disappoint seem to feel the overall standard of SL is so low this year. You do gi be Saints some credit but as you have found out The Pies are not too shabby either. I do wonder if this denigration of the opposition and the competition does actually make the FC supporters feel any better.

If only Pearson had gone with Ian Watson and cleared the entire coaching staff out, unfortunately Pearson didn't have the stomach for that which was our loss. Brett's is too nice a guy to do what is required. The lack of discipline from FC has to be sorted and quick, we'll have another raft of bans for Toulouse next week and I seriously doubt we can go there and win. Another promising season petering off to mediocrity.
Tbf to Pearson Ian Watson turned us down because he didnt want to move house, he picked the right first choice and I can see why Hodgson was seen as a good 2nd option (experienced player, with NRL backroom experience) but its not worked so he needs to act fast
i think the way we are playing we could end up getting relegated, toulouse and wakefield will fight tooth and nail from here on in,our lot dont seem prepared to do that.on currant form we are the worst team in the league.
Reading some of Radfords interviews this week he is right on one thing, this squad here now is here because the regime after signed them up. Too many contracts given out to the players who havent earned it and for me we shipped the wrong players out (barring reynolds). Something which has being poor since Clarke took over them reigns from Tony.
Weve had bad injuries but we should be turfing out so much more. If Hodgson was to go its Criminal that some of these players would see a third head coach. Your talking about players who contributed to a 13 match losing run and then won one of its last 9 games the next season.
For me it wont change till alot of this team is moved on. Theyve had enough chances now, its time to cut the cloth and accept they are not good enough.

We're currently 8 points clear of Wakefield. So if we lose all our remaining games (agree this could well happen) they need to win at least 4 from their last 8 (having won 5 from the first 19 rounds) against Saints Catalans Cas Wigan Hull Rovers Saints Huddersfield

Do you think Wakefield will win four out of eight (including Saints twice, Catalans, Wigan and Huddersfield) given that they've only won five from nineteen so far? That's assuming we lose every remaining game which I don't think will happen.
Whilst a clear out of players sounds like the answer, it's not that easy to do as the player pool just isn't that big these days, without stating the obvious you'll probably have to wean them out a few at a time.

I agree but for your relegation scenario to be realised it's not just about FC is it?
