You can only work with the tools you've got, and all our tools are blunt.
Yes you are correct. But the players simply don't look like they've been coached how to attack. Their passing is slow and inaccurate. We have no set plays, or if we do we have no idea how to set up for them. And any set plays we do put on are rendered ineffective because we played most of the game with a second rower at 9 who's slow distribution took away any space (not a dig at Lane, we shouldn't be in a position where he's even been asked to play there).
100% the players should have done better with the field position but they just look so poorly coached and lacking in even the basics.

On a positive note, we've officially hit rock bottom. And to quote Yazz "The only way is up"
I still fancy us to have a bright future with some of the youngsters we have on board.
2024 was a write off. But like we always do, we'll rise again.
We've already been dealt a fortune of luck that we won't be relegated. Not our fault, that's the crazy people that run the game that came up with that madness.
If we're lucky with Asiata staying on the pitch, then he'll be a gem for us with those youngsters around him.
Cartwright as promised us that the team is gonna be fit. So let's see what happens.

This club has become a professional embarrassment and that starts from the top. There’s one thing sacking the coach early for poor performances, but since then it has just been chaos. We are now at the point where we have used more than 50 players this season. Saying the coaching isn’t up to scratch is an under statement, but this extends to Adam Pearson as well. We deserve to be relegated.
In our last 3 matches our half times scores have been as follows
0-10 12-12 4-12
The results have ended up being
6-46 42-12 4-29
We have managed in 3 matches to score a total of 6 pts in the second half. Enough said.

We're awful but London are still bottom. If they finish bottom they deserve to be relegated, as do we if we finish bottom but that's not the rules this year.

On the other hand we have an owner with no money, who has made consistently bad decisions and is seemingly out of ideas.
Our lease is up on our stadium in a few years with no alternative ground to move to.
We assume there is new investment by things that have happened recently but details kept in the dark because the club only talk to us when they have new merchandise to flog to us.
Even if Cartwright Snr and Asiata are amazing it may come too late as the floodgates have opened and fans are drifting away. I no longer have confidence in Pearson, 2 good seasons in 12/13 owning the club isn't good enough.

looking at the hull team,i thought were will the points come from,we have a team, with no brains or ballplayers in the forewards and no flair or speed in the backs.pearson has to be to blame,no relegation and he wanted to save money.far more effort should have been made to replace the quota players we binned.we still have an hooker playing 7.pearson has been spouting about marquee signings, hes been spoting for weeks about the same and nothing.looking like last summer all over again,we were told we were after a top aussie halfback and ended up with nu brown.we need rid of carlos, fash, sao, lane at the very least.dead wood with nothing to offer.
