He was very good last night. Just the one wayward pass that may have cost us a try although obviously not a vital error. He has great awareness and balance. Loved his pass for Talanoa's first try.

I had you about 8th but you seem to have improved your finishing in attack significantly Cant wait till you play some of the big teams!
Before a ball was kicked I had us as an outside chance of 4th. Now I'm pretty confident about 4th, but until I've seen us tested against the big teams it's hard to say if we can be proper GF contenders.
Next 5 games are big. Cas home, Wigan home, Widnes away, Wakefield home, HKR away.
I think we will start favourite in all of them (Wigan's away form has been really bad the last couple of years) and even if we afford ourselves one slip up we will be very handily placed. Win all five and you have to start talking about us as serious trophy contenders.

Complacency and not getting up for so called lesser gasmes has been FCs problem for, well, years. Its the Wakey, Widnes and KR games that will be real tests
Very impressive last night, and if you can stay relatively injury free you will be right up there.I said pre season your pack is the best in the league and as someone who watches the NRL all the time feel tuimavave will prove to be a very astute signing.

Some of your more moronic fans (just like ours) have dragged your coach's name through the mud for seasons until he won the treble. And I think this season your halves look the worst in the league, and I don't even think Ryan Brierley will be a fix.
I too have watched every televised game and would say we are by far the best team in the league at the moment. I dare say Leeds, Wigan and Saints will be able to take steps to improve their early form, but if someone told me that they'd been to the future and seen us win the league I would not be totally amazed. I notice people are saying the usual "barring injuries" excuse, but we have so many good players sat in the stands this will only apply if we get two major injuries in the same key position (H,SH,SO,FB).
2-1 was a ridiculous price for us to win last night, and i wish i'd put more money on it. I hope the bookies take a while to realise what i already believe so i can make a bit more. £10 on us to win the CC at 16-1 should cover most of my costs to see it. I'd guess we've got about two weeks of good prices at the bookies before they realise which way the wind is blowing.

As much as I've enjoyed the last couple of games, bitter experience shows that some injuries are inevitable though we do seem better prepared. In particular we are still one injury away from disaster at hooker. So I'm enjoying what's been done so far and have confidence that the line up in the last couple of games will be a tough assignment for any team in SL but its way too early to get carried away yet.
Well not getting carried away but we do look like a team on the up, the team spirit is just great to see and that is two points I didnt expect to have.
After last week I was lets wait until we play Cats to see our improvement, never saw that result coming.
We need a big crowd for Cas now, anypone that has not been yet is missing out.
