Lanes tackling is better the last couple of matches but still grabs far to often. Also when was the last time he made or looked like making a break

He used to run some pretty good lines in attack but he seems sub-par at best in recent games. Could just be a form thing and I'd give him and Smith the benefit of the doubt but long term either Lane improves or we improve the squad and he doesn't feature.

10 Point win for me and it's on Sky so yippee !
I would much rather see a 10-6 win than 42-28
We must keep defence strong. Then we beat Cas and I get to see FC in the CC quarters. My last game was 9 years ago, funny enough at Wakey where we got a late draw. Atmosphere was terrible as FC were in such a mess on and off the field.

Jordan Lane - at his age it's one of 2 things. Really simple. He either CAN'T do it or WON"T do it.

I think at this stage if it's either Can't or Won't do what he's asked, then Connor Wynne likely needs a room mate.

I have lost interest

Brown is in for Barron, still no Tex Hoy. Same team apart from start Trueman put Brown on the bench leave Macca out, Swift for McIntosh if he's fit.

Litten
Scott
Carlos
Sutcliffe
Swift if fit
Trueman
Clifford
Sao
Mint
Fash
Lane
Griffin
Cator
Subs
Dwyer
Brown
Tag
Satae

The other option is Mac and Swift wingers, Cam Scott on bench to cover back row and backs instead of Brown. But Cam had a good game the other night so be harsh

Always the Optimist never the Pessimist. Glass Half full not half empty man me.

Yeah Brown must be in the 17, or no point him replacing a player that didn't play

Can’t quite get my head round why fans are quick to drop Mcintosh but claim Scott had a good game?

Both dropped up and unders and yet both Wigan tries were scored on Scott’s wing. His positioning for the second was poor.

Mcintosh ran for over 100m and scored a try.

Neither were perfect and have a lot of room for improvement but only one seems to get criticised?

Just don’t get it.

This is nail on head stuff. McIntosh made a few errors against Wigan. 3 of them weren’t actually errors.

- One, Wigan were offside so technically he gained us a pen lol. But seriously, he would’ve pouched it without the added pressure.
- There was also the interception he knocked on which was a forward pass. Had the pass been spot on he pouches it again.
- Then there was the knockdown that stopped a certain try.

Scott on the other hand dropped a few kicks and had a few errors in his game. It’s understandable as he’s not a natural winger. Darnell also a better finisher, let him play and hopefully find his confidence.

Right now any player who can tackle with 90% plus efficiency would be more effective than lane. When Tex is back we could play litten there for fun. Would make more metres and miss less tackles
If I was TS, I’d be ringing round amateur clubs seeing if they have any lads to replace Jordan lane. But seriously, give Nick Stavely a go. Has played big minutes and a poor side and stood up well. Put his hand up as Prop, Loose, second row and now centre. Should’ve brought him back and given him a go. If he out of his depth then we’re in the same place we started

Agree based on last week performance McIntosh should be in.

I'd be tempted to drop Lane, have Scott on the bench and play a prop in the backrow (Brown, Fash or Sao), be hard to do much worse
