Surely too much of a coincidence?

Too many rumours do the rounds regarding our club

Not long after he left Rovers that rumour started but then it went quiet very quickly

Pretty sure if the rest of the season hadn’t turned out as bad then Hodgson would still be coach.

Be interesting to know who this ex player is? Prepared to tell us?

Will Tony Smiff repeat BH mistake and see half paced Jake as a 6 or 1 or 3 ?

I have lost interest

All levels of football have been suspended until at least Monday so I'd expect tomorrow's play off game will be as well.

With this in mind I'd guess Smith's appointment won't be announced until next week.

Can we afford to suspend the play offs?

Business end of the season plus world cup on the horizon. Just crack on

There is no obligation to cancel games other than the day of her funeral , So hopefully weekends games will go ahead .

I totally agree.

I have strong personal views on the Monarchy which I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with; however, she is revered by many people and her death is a significant moment in our history, and I respect that.

With football taking the lead I'd guess that other sports will feel obliged to follow.

I agree. we cannot ignore the depth of public opinion and grief, I too hold opposing views on the monarchy, but it is a momentous time in history, the death of our longest serving, universally revered monarch is bigger than a round of play off games, particularly when other sports have, out of respect, cancelled their games.

I know everyone has their own opinion, but when Jake was an out and out centre, he excelled against the Kiwis for England and when appearing for us, regularly set up some spectacular tries for his winger or the supporting full back with a dummy and an inside pass. a game against Cas sticks out or an example of this, but I don't remember the date. I don't think he actually is a natural six, that position is too structured for him, so its fullback or centre for me. If his lack of pace when defending breaks is the concern about him playing there, maybe swap him for the winger when we are defending but revert to a roaming full back when attacking ? I am not too sure he'll even be with us next year. If he has signalled his intention to leave when his contract expires, we may test the water to see if there would be any takers, for a fee, but given that he has only 12 months left on his current deal, nobody will pay anything like his true worth, they'll just sit and wait it out.
Alternatively, TS may transform us into an elite SL force. Then I woke up and fell of my camel.

Or will he he join Wayne Bennet, Lee Radford and Brett Hodgson on the list of coaches that don't know as much about rugby as you do? :P

The words of fools mean nothing to one who resides in the truth.
