I thought FC was supposed to be a big club. Which so called big club would he go to? I cannot see him being a regular at Saints, Wigan, Leeds, or Cats in the full back role or a halfback. Not even Hudds. He has periods of acknowledged brilliance but almost invariably when things are going well for the team. When the going gets tough he tends to go missing. After his petulant, error ridden performance today I cannot see him being hunted by any club that will be challenging for honours in the immediate future. w

Madness to even think about losing him.
Exactly. We could do with a new coach but not one of the experts on here who thinks we should willingly release our best player who has assisted about 40% of our tries this season.

You're right.
Get rid of our best player and the problems will be solved. We are fortunate to have him.

Let's just go all out for relegation
Even with Jake Connor next season sadly I think if Hodgson & Purtill are still the head & assistant Coaches respectively along with the likes of Taylor, Houghton, Griffin still in the side and without any quality adding in the 2nd row we will likely be fighting to avoid relegation. That for me is a reality of the situation the club are very much facing. All the talk that next season with the arrival of Hoy, Trueman (who’ll miss a fair chunk at the start of the season) Dwyer and Sutcliffe is pure folly. There hasn’t been a shred of evidence that Hodgson can turn it around in fact it’s the total opposite.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

How many of these assists came in games that mattered? How many against the top6? Stat padding against Toulouse isnt enough, his attitude is shocking and we cant afford a full back just strolling around sulking.

He destroyed Leeds and Salford at the start of the season. 2 teams that made the play-offs.
