Schofield was brilliant that game, the chip and chase for Offiah's try had the Aussies bemused and what a game that was. I don't see us within 50 points of them now, if they pick their best 17, probably even their next best 17. The gulf in class between us now is probably as wide as it was in 82 when the Invincibles came over and rewrote RL history, in my opinion as an avid fan of the NRL.
Since arriving in 1968 I have been to all matches here in the Ashes series and my favourite was the first in 1970. It was the last time GB won an Ashes series and the side was coached by our own Johnny Whiteley. Having been hammered in a brutal opener in Brisbane we won the next 2 before crowds of 60,000 at the SCG with Roger Millward and big Cliff Watson my favourites in the series win.
In a bit of trivia my namesake was in the team for the 2 wins.

Freddie, I'm sure my late dad was your namesake's biggest fan. He was always speaking about him. Slightly before my time as I didn't start watching till the late 40's.

Really likes class at times and doesn't think before he speaks.
Not sure if Radford is trying to be funny, sarcastic or he actually believes what he's said? He himself seems to have learnt very little since he left or understood why he got relieved of his role he's just put his merry band back together and continuing in the same vein. Hopefully Radford will get a rude awakening and wonder what hit Cas and his comments will give the team a bit extra to fire them up to put in a very solid performance and come away from Wheldon Rd with a very good result and the 2pts.
As for not watching Hull's performance I'll take that comment with a pinch of salt
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Raiders is Radders. Can't people see he's just having a bit of banter. Be all fine after match laughing and joking with each other. Anybody who's played rugby will know this goes on. Players will be txt each other with far worse
