Warrington also have players missing
As i said comfortable win for us

We haven't beaten a team in the top 5 since February, right? Form against bottom clubs is nice but not always a great predictor against ones with marquee players, and 3 years since a play off win. Would be amazed if it were a comfortable win.

If you raise the bar high enough (eg comfortable win), then there's plenty of room to whinge and moan if we don't quite manage it.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Whilst I don't agree with Bonaire's comfortable win, I can't agree with your tedious pessimism.

It's knock out rugby, we seem to have found a little bit of form and are ourselves paying over the salary cap with the likes of Fonua and Ma'u and our other quality recruitment.
Let's not down play how expensive and how good our squad actually is, it's just been mismanaged.

Whilst not expecting a victory I'll remain optimistic that we turn up and have a dig for the full 80 minutes.

I agree, I hope we turn up and have a dig for 80 minutes, and would be disappointed if we don't put everything into it. But the point stands. Expecting a comfortable win when we've only beaten Leeds in the top 6 and our aggregate score against Warrington is 16-75 this year makes little sense to me. I'll check the match odds if I can find them.

Edit - Paddy Power have a comfortable Hull win (13+) 6/1.

Hopefully Connor is fit to play and our forwards get stuck in.

And on the flip side, you be that pessimistic that you can make excuses for every poor performance and say you expected it anyway because of blah blah blah. I personally don’t think we’ll beat Warrington, but I do expect to give them a very good game

I agree a comfortable win is out the question and Wolves are favourites for a reason but we have a quality team put together at some expense and if it fires and fires well then the game is not a forgone conclusion.

A good performance is all I ask irrespective of the result.
I hope Last keeps Connor at fb, puts Griffin into the centres and is brave enough to stick Mcnamara in the halves, instead of Griffin to fb.

Remind me when I've been pessimistic before a game.

I'm optimistic under Last
Last time they steam roller we us down the middle, with Taylor back and with Sao, Satae and Bowden all fit and in form I don't think itl be as straight forward, plus Savelio and Mau.

Tough team Warrington, but with abit of luck you never know, itl definatley be an arm wrestle, I just think Austin will put them in better field position , as Sneyds been poor, hopefully Connors on fire and isn't side tracked by his ongoing spats with Hill
