I wonder if Sneyd will ever get a look in at international level?
Gale was the half back in the World Cup, but he's been out the game for a long while now. Tomkins played there last year and I expect he's in the shirt right now, but there isn't many more to call on who are better than Sneyd. I think the one thing any national coach would fear is, is he good enough defensively for that level?

It's a good question. If Connor makes 6 his position perhaps he and Williams will be in the halves, although neither are genuine game managers.

You can’t have to many quality players, this dilemma of three into two is a theory that doesn’t wash. With injuries to halves common place, we will work with it.
That combination with Kelly off the bench,Connor to centre and Griffin to second row worked really well at Catalan and something we will see again.

Can’t see it happening giddyup, his defence is poor, he has no pace, he is so laid back you think he is asleep, he may never play internationally for England or GB, but I wouldn’t swap him for anyone in super League, he’s our perfect fit, cool hand,

We have great options now, and this combination makes us less predictable, Radders must be praised for using his bench and changes to come away with the points in France, light at the end of the tunnel hopefully.

AP said he was against marquee signings ....AP has history of telling lies to you .
JS: But in terms of the marquee rule, you’ve not used it, but will we see a marquee player at FC next season? AP: We won’t be. Lee Radford and I are in the same position in that we want our squad to be evenly balanced and we want our key players to be on the right money. We are not sure at this stage that going down the marquee route is the right decision for us. To put all your money in one player and to have one player earning significantly more than anyone else is something we are not convinced is the right policy. We may be proven wrong because Leeds have brought in quality marquee signings and Warrington just the same. But they can get injured and cause disruption in the dressing room at times if they are not the right marquee signings. At the moment we have a policy that we have a pretty level top to bottom wage structure where the key players are earning the best money, but there aren’t huge gulfs between players.
Adam Pearson: Thursday night, in fact the last two months of the season have been totally unacceptable for the club and the supporters. We had seven key players missing on Thursday night and we will now be adding three or four proper signings, not youth players, so that come January we will have 10 or 11 players to go back into what will fundamentally be our best team. We are going to move some players out and bring some new ones in and completely refresh the squad. We will move players on who we feel have let the club down over the past two months. Obviously some of those players have contracts and if needs be and they don’t want to go we will send them to play dual registration at Doncaster and they can stay there. We’ll then sign three or four players who take us into a new financial level.
AP: The players are letting the club down. I have always worked by the mantra that if you respect the players the players respect the club back. But at the minute, from a number of players that is not happening and, therefore, that is unacceptable so we will be moving those players on and revamping the squad this winter. In January we will have three or four significant signings and three or four development signings to add to the seven who didn’t play at Warrington who are our front runners anyway.

HULL FC chairman Adam Pearson voted in favour of increasing Super League’s salary cap, but admitted he does not know if it will make much difference in retaining and attracting talent.
The only thing that will make a difference is the ‘marquee’ rule that allows clubs with huge spending power to sign two players if it wants under those conditions. So that gives the likes of Warrington... Warrington and... Warrington, chance to go out and bring in some big-name players. Adam Pearson
