Wigan i thought we showed desire in defence and in attack we were still off it. The more games Tyrone Roberts plays the better we'll be. Roberts was having a fitness test before the match then got injured in the first few minutes but carried on.
Our forwards do look stronger this year, with Hill, Cooper, Akuola, and Crosby.Unfortunately we have lost Currie for 4 weeks which is a big miss for us. He already has a couple of assists.
Should be a good game however i expect you guys to win.
My favourite rugby league fixture. Back 70 years to a match at the Boulevard when for the first time I watched Brian Bevan and Roy Francis play for you with Harry Bath your goalkicker- the first time I saw a forward being the kicker. Francis was the first coloured player I had seen play the game and the following year came to Hull to achieve,as did Bevan at Warrington, legendary status.
You hammered us that day, Gerry Helme carved us up, so a win for us would be a fair result for me!
