Taking his young son ( who is already pestering him for the new shirt for the night ). All it takes is for his lad to love it and you've potentially gained another 2 fans .
We've been adopted by our friend's two kids. The lad, who's 12 decided at the end if last season he wants to be an FC fan and pestered his poor grandad (lifelong rovers fan) for a shirt for Xmas. He loves coming to the games and his older sister (rovers fan) comes too. Working on her to buy an FC shirt and officially switch allegiance. Success will increase the fan base.

Keep up the good work. Support the Challenge Cup winners and Super League Club of the Year in the competition's best stadium or, er, Hull KR?
How does a headline of "OPENING GAME HEADING FOR A SELL OUT" tally up with the reality, are we expecting 20k+ for the game? If Upper West and the North are going to be somewhat empty as of right now then that's what, 9k off the capacity straight away. A headline of 'bumper crowd expected' etc etc but why make statemenmts that are utterly untrue?

Agree they have got carried away, i don't think the East/North corner is open yet. But still we must be on about 11/12k sales by now with 2 weeks to go which is a very good effort.
Hull's website is a little over enthusiastic with ticket sales but I guess that's their job.
We are hopefully looking at over 13k which would be a very encouraging start to the season. Still not sure why we are unable to use the away section of the East Stand for a game like this when it'll just remain empty. Surely better to fill that than have extra people in the West Stand.

I'm assuming it'll be some stupid SMC fun and games, for the Warrington game at the end of last year they opened the West Upper before opening the North Stand which would have looked better for the cameras and for the atmosphere.
