Think we could do 9k+ still a few weeks of Xmas shopping to come and Junior passes in particular sell well before Xmas, then theres the last minute buyers before the season starts

I think the record average crowd for a season was over 14k about 10 years ago.
Was just going to ask the same thing. Pearson pushed for 10k for last year, and I know a few people who bought one who haven't had one for years on the back of the signings made. Hopefully the success of last year and more key recruitment will see others follow suit. 10k would be fantastic. Would see us get 12k+ every week with corporates, away fans and giveaways.
The season we averaged 14k was when we had 2 home derbies so wasn't really a reflection on our core support. We need to get back up to 12k+ on a regular basis

The thing about the derby as well is that that one game can add 700 or so to our average attendance so we have to make that up.

Yes, two home derbies in 2007 (23,002 and 23,004) helped us to an average of 14,606 although the average of the other games was 13,079. The lowest attendance that season was 12,094 against Huddersfield. It would be great to get back to those sort of attendances on a regular basis.
The clubs website states 6,000 have renewed but again as per last year we don't know the split of general membership/full membership split but one would expect that to be more full memberships as a % than last year as confidence in supporters has risen hugely. 9k as a total would be incredible but around 8,000 is a more likely figure.

Ah yer, fair point! Forgot there were two different types. Still, it's encouraging. Also I think it says a lot that we've not heard Pearson/Radford come out asking for us to sign up. Letting the product speak for itself.
