I personally think we are keeping (hopefully) the better player in HTW.

A Luke Briscoe? I hope for Reece's sake he has a bit more success than that, wherever he ends up.

He got offered a longer contract elsewhere.
What aspect isn't accurate?

He didn't get offered a game because he's too far down the replacement list. If he thinks he should be getting game time ahead of more experienced players then that says more about him than FC TBH.

I've no problem with a him leaving for a better contract. If he thinks he'll have a better future at Rovers than FC then good luck to him. What I take issue with is you trying to make out that this is somehow some kind of failing by the club. Honestly, it's a bit pathetic.

I'd guess with Abdull now on loan at Fev that we'll see Dean playing 6 for the 23s, rather than fullback? Anyone know when the next game is? One for called off this weekend.

What's pathetic is you jumping to conclusions and jumping on the bandwagon!
I haven't made anything out regarding being failed by the club, read what I wrote, none of it is untrue, from his POV he'll presume he has more chance of first team rugby and it IS a fact he hasn't being picked despite injuries.
Whether he is/was ready/good enough we won't know now (for us) and if you had bothered reading and understanding I'd said we will see how he goes to underline that point as to whether he was or not.

He's probably got a better chance of playing at our place and if he's on more money it's a no brainier you can't keep everyone Leeds and Wigan bring through a lot of youth but also release a lot if you have Abdull HTW and Dean as back up one has to go really as you will probably have another youngster coming through in the next couple of years

This. If Motu's gone to Aus looking for a 6 as well, best for all parties.

I agree too, and surely we should be more than happy at the fact that we have started to produce more players, who go on to play at the highest levels.
If these youngsters continue to develop into good players, with any other club, and they have any desire to play for FC, then surely we will be able to offer them contracts when appropriate.
